Physical Education Complex Update
Mission Statement:
We are committed to enriching the 自慰视频-Gallup campus community by providing an inclusive recreational program, services, and facilities to promote physical, social, and emotional health and wellness.
Accessing the P.E. Complex
The 自慰视频-Gallup P.E. Complex requires all patrons wishing to use the facility to possess an active LoboCard with the necessary clearances for access. Current enrolled students, faculty, and staff at 自慰视频-Gallup are granted clearance to use the facililty for each term they are either enrolled in classes or hold an active position with the University. The P.E. Complex is not allowing community members to access the facility at this time.
First-time visitors must verify their status by presenting a current 自慰视频 LoboCard (issued after August 2024) and their current semester's class schedule. A copy of the class schedule will be kept on file, along with a signed Policies and Guidelines form and a Waiver and Release of Liability form (required for patrons between the ages of 15 an 18).
For each visit, all patrons must:
- Check-in with attendant.
- Scan your 自慰视频 ID Card. (Access will not be granted without a valid 自慰视频 LoboCard)
- Follow all policies and guidelines for the use of the P.E. Complex.
Training Sessions
The 自慰视频-Gallup P.E. Complex is now offering free sessions for 自慰视频-Gallup students in Basketball Fundamentals Training and Circuit Training.
Basketball Trainings are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday from Feb. 21 through May 2.
If you want to take your basketball game to the next level, mastering the fundamentals is key. Every successful play, offensive or defensive strategy, and move you make on the court is built on solid understanding of the basics. The best players in the game have perfected these fundamentals, and once you do too, the rest of the game will come much more naturally. Focus on getting the basics down, and watch your skills grow!
Ready to level up your fitness? Join us for an energizing Circuit Training class designed to build strength, burn calories, and improve your overall fitness! This fast-paced class will feature a mix of exercises like push-ups, squats, burpees, mountain climbers, and more—alternating between upper and lower body movements to keep things exciting and effective.
We'll also incorporate plyometric exercises like squat jumps and step-ups to boost your power, along with low-impact options using resistance bands and machines. Whether you're new to fitness or looking to challenge yourself, this class is perfect for all fitness levels! Come get stronger, faster, and fitter with us—don't miss out!
Physical Education Complex Spring Hours:
Monday – Thursday:8 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.
Friday:
8 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The gym will close periodically for equipment repair and maintenance.
Gym staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
P.E. Complex Amenities

Basketball Court
Our gymnasium offers patrons a basketball court which can also be utilized as a indoor walking/jogging track.

Weight/Cardio Room
This room is fully equipped with stationary weight machines, free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines.

Yoga/Mat Room
We also have a robust offering of fitness classes which are all taught by certified instructors who can help you achieve your healthiest life style.
Walking Trail
For a walk or run through the beautiful Gallup landscape, there are two fitness trails that loop behind the gymnasium. With several gentle hills, the larger trail is approximately 1 mile in length while the smaller trail is about ¼ mile in length. Several fitness stations are located on the trail to enhance and complete your full work out. For the safety and comfort of all trail users, bikes, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the trails.
